WHERE I'M COMING FROM

Having discovered my passion for storytelling through graphic art at the age of 8—fiddling with Adobe Photoshop 2, Flash, and Dreamweaver in between episodes of All That and Dexter’s Laboratory, I have dedicated the last 20+ years to developing and perfecting my craft as a designer, creative leader, and now emerging filmmaker.
From art directing and designing layouts for my high school magazine on Quark, to developing innovative creative solutions for brands across the country and world, I continue to grow and shape-shift as a creative—and more importantly as a person.
As a Black, non-binary, transmasculine creative born in Memphis and raised in New York City, I navigate and see the world through a unique lens and can now recognize this as my superpower.
Self-taught and book-polished with 10+ years of Advertising, Marketing, and Ad sales experience, I tap into both my professional experiences and intersectional pathways to lead me to imaginative creative solutions that not only exceed expectations and produce results, but inspire audiences to take action and want to be part of the conversation. This approach has helped me successfully assist brands and agencies of all kinds to raise their standards, elevate their image, and win new business and partnerships.
Keeping my hand on the pulse of the culture, from artistic styles and sounds to emerging tech that helps us to tell stories in new ways, I draw on unique insights and optimize collaborations across teams to deliver results that have a long-lasting impact.

I am very passionate about pouring resources, time, and support into spaces that center people first. Growing up in a home where technology, art, culture, and the power of words formed the pillars of my creative foundation, I strive to create inventive visual solutions that help folx navigate, live, and celebrate life in the best ways possible.

With a burning curiosity to uncover new ways we can collectively craft a world where living life is the focus instead of surviving it, I bring a true passion to connect with others through shared stories, unique perspectives, creative expression, and a commitment to making a long-lasting impact that helps to change the tone and tempo of the world.

By tapping into my passion and commitment to authentic storytelling as my inner compass, I have successfully helped various brands and organizations find their true voice and create brand identities that honor the meaningful connections they seek to make.
Beyond the design aspect of it all, I have built and maintained an extensive network of artists, creators, and change makers that spans across the globe and continue to tap into my natural gift of bringing folx together to support and amplify each other’s unique voices so we can continue to push beyond the invisible limitations that effect us all.

Although I find myself to be something of a "Jackie of all trades", the path that is next for me looks pretty clear. As I transition careers from working 10+ years in communication design to filmmaking and video production, I look forward to documenting and amplifying stories that make life feel a little bit more magical. While I work through this transition, I continue to support brands, organizations, and small businesses as a creative consultant and remain open to contract and full-time work that aligns with my level of expertise, passion for 360 solutions, and commitment to making an impact through art.

Visualizing conversations and moments through images, movement, color, and music, I've developed a great love and appreciation for the creative process and am excited to translate that passion through more immersive mediums such as film, video production, experiential design, and event curation.

As I craft my voice within the film space, I continue to help brands, small businesses, and creatives share their stories and authentically connect with their audiences.

Actively working to engage in projects that allow me to flex some of my untapped talents on a more visible scale, I look forward to having more opportunities to do more public speaking, training, on-site events, and on-screen projects as talent.
